The Jomo Kenyatta Foundation is ISO 9001 certified. The organization was initially assessed on its quality management systems and evaluated on the same where the foundation successfully attained the certification in December 2008 under the ISO 9001:2000 standard. During the same year, the standard was revised and the foundation was put to the task of upgrading its quality management system to match the revised standard. The company was evaluated again in the month of May 2009 and attained the ISO 9001:2008 certification. Since receiving the certificate the JKF works tirelessly on continual improvement of the processes to ensure that customer and legal requirements are met. Every year a review of the quality management system will take place and every 3 years the JKF will be subjected to another evaluation processes.
